1969 – 2021- 52 Years in Education, Design and Building, 36 Years as an Architect
From 1988 till 1993 I was teaching at TAFE Ultimo as part of their Heritage Mapping Program, involving multiple student cohorts measuring such sites at Hill End.
Then, from 1994 until 2006 I was part time Senior Lecturer (Professional Practice) at the UTS DAB Architecture Program, and also taught Architectural Technology, Management and Architectural Practice Sydney Technical College, NSWIT and at UNSW College of Fine Arts (COFA).
I have also taught at Whitehouse Institute of Design, Professional practice at UNSW Interior Architecture Program and Architectural Technology at TAFE Ultimo College.
Since 1983 I have been a consultant with Archicentre and have acted as Director of Practice, to the RAIA (NSW Chapter), 1987 to 1990 and have served on various committees at chapter level since 1988 and have been elected as a fellow in 2001 and to RAIA NSW Chapter Council, 2010 to 2015.
Served as an Examiner in Part 3 Interviews on Behalf of the NSW ARB, from 1998 to 2006 and 2019, 2020.
I have been a member of the Institute of Arbitrators, National Trust, and currently am A+ member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
I have represented many private clients at Local Council meetings, Consumer Tribunal matters and at Land and Environment Court Hearings and have been engaged as an expert witness to prepare technical reports in such matters as Heritage matters, building inspections, and termite infestations.
I have also been a member for NSW Civil and Administrative tribunal (NCAT) 2012 to 2015.
During all this time I have maintained an active architectural practice with up to 5 staff at Paragrid Architecture.
